What are the hours of operation?
Festival hours are 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Where do volunteers meet for their shifts?
Those volunteering for shifts that begin at 6:00 am, will meet at the parking lot in front of the Pavilion building. Those whose shifts begin after this time-frame should go to the Headquarters booth, located at the southeast corner of the Pavilion. You will be given your Volunteer name badge on a lanyard and instructed where to go. You can leave any non-valuable belongings at this booth. When you have completed your shift, please check out at the Headquarters booth and return your name badge.
How will I get my t-shirt?
You will be given your shirt when you check in for shift or after, if you are there for the set up shift. Check-in and check-out take place at the Headquarters booth, located at the southeast corner of the Pavilion.
Can I bring my dog or small children with me?
You will be kept quite busy during your shift and would not have the time needed to attend to your pet or your child. The crowds could also cause them distress. It would be better if you left your pets and children with a dependable adult during your shift. And, it should go without saying: Never leave them in the car.
What if I have a minor first aid need, like a scrape or headache, or I forget sunscreen?
Don't worry. We will have minor first aid needs, as well as a variety of other "just-in-case" supplies. Our Headquarters will be stocked with bandages, antiseptics, hand wipes, sunscreen, and other first aid basics.
Who should I contact if I have questions or need to call the day of?

On festival day (Sunday, October 1), if you cannot make your shift or have an emergency, you can text: 618-972-9071.
